"Our Lives, Our Stories: LGBTI Seniors in Nepal" is a collection of ten first-person narratives of older lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) people in Nepal.

Produced by Mitini Nepal and Outright International in collaboration with SAGE USA, this storybook is part of a project called LGBTI Elders Advancing Project, which amplifies the voices and advances the rights of LGBTI elders in Asia. In May 2023, Mitini Nepal and Outright released a fact sheet with first-time data on the lives of LGBTI elders in Nepal.

Based on interviews that Mitini Nepal conducted with 100 LGBTI people ages 50-70 years, living in six provinces across the country, the fact sheet sets the context for "Our Lives, Our Stories: LGBTI Seniors in Nepal."

The ten storytellers in "Our Lives, Our Stories" were selected from the 100 older LGBTI people in the survey. Their stories provide an unflinching view of the impacts of discrimination, social exclusion, family violence, lack of legal protections, and lack of support for LGBTI senior citizens. The narratives also show the elders' lifelong resolve to claim their preferred sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
