Remembering David Kato

On January 26th, 2011 our movement to advance human rights for everyone, everywhere, lost one of our most fearless leaders. David Kato never gave up. He committed himself to fighting for the rights of LGBT Ugandans until the moment he was brutally murdered. David Kato's memory and mission lives in the dedicated work of LGBT human rights defenders around the world. In light of the tragic loss of David Kato, over the past year activists in Uganda have come together to create a more powerful and unified movement for LGBT human rights.

Please join us in remembering all that David gave to us during his short life and all that he has inspired now that he's gone.
