UN and Regional Mechanisms
From its office in New York City, IGLHRC works extensively at the United Nations, helping Member States and UN institutions recognize that human rights standards apply to everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. We also work with regional mechanisms, such as the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights. For more information about our work at the UN and with regional mechanisms, click on the relevant link in the right hand column of this page.
